Dave, the New South Wales police force has been crooked since the days of the rum corps.
Anyone who suggests otherwise is probably on the take or has enough dirty little fingers in enough bent, slimy and crooked pies that a Royal Commission is a genuine cause for concern.
On the bright side, the Victorian police force look set to get brand new high calibre semi-automatic firearms meaning the Victorian government’s treatment bill for the care of the mentally ill will no doubt diminish exponentially.
I dare say the Victorian government has figured into it’s next budget the mental health care cost saving relevant to the increased lethality of the state’s police force.
