Weekend at Kim’s

I love a good conspiricy theory, so I was delighted to hear this story getting a run on the ABC’s World Today programme.

The thought that a major world leader could be dead for years without anyone knowing it isn’t without precedent, after all George W Bush has been doing a good impression of someone who’s brain-dead for years (remember how involved he became in the Terri Schiavo nonsense? Now you know why).

But I have to ‘fess up and admit that when I heard that Kim Jong Il may have died long ago, only to be, metaphorically speaking, propped up, all I could think of was this.
