This is why I don’t read the Border Mail

We’ve all heard about people who complain that daylight saving fades the curtains, but this takes the cake.

    That letter caused a huge reaction pointing out how stupid it was, which appartently was the author’s intent. He was featured in a BM article a few days later explaining that he wrote it as ‘a joke’. Although I’d like to think he really meant it.

    I also like to think he really meant it, since I think I pointed it out to Ray first and Dave stole it from Ray’s blog.

    Btw, that letter (and others like it) are why I DO read the Border Mail. It’s a great source of odd material, especially some of their street polls.
