The Buell Ulysses is a similar bike to the Multistrada in many ways. Sadly Buells had a bit of a spotty reliability record and were often treated like red-headed step children by the Harley Dealers who were supposed to provide support for them. Conceptually I love Buells, but practically I’m not sure I’d own one, especially now that Harley Davidson has discontinued the brand. What I have in mind is something more along the lines of a Ducati Multistrada. Whether there's room for two bikes in the garage will be the issue. Unless Mrs dave wants to do the driving. Then a SPS might be required. Incidentally, I've travelled (as a passenger) over the Winton ripple strips at awesome G forces, but alas, I guess it would've been just an inkling of what it would be like on a bike.
