As a kid I only had a passing interest in Dungeons and Dragons, it was basically a good excuse for congregating with the other geeks in the library at school. Therefore, I never really paid much attention to the occult paranoia that surrounded D & D in the mid 80s and my only memory of it is a vague recollection of an American 60 Minutes report that got a run on our local edition one Sunday night. Dungeons and Dragons has become a regular part of our routine here in the Dave from Albury Compound. Thursday nights bring a combination of miniature figurines, beer, my Dungeon Master’s screen, beer, half-elves,beer kobolds, beer, and of course polyhedral dice.
So, what happens when you get a couple of guys away from their wives, or mums, and play a little bit of Dungeons and Dragons? Well tonight at the Dave from Albury Compound it looked a little like this.
